Birch water is used to support detoxification regimens
In Scandinavia, Estonia, Latvia and the northern parts of Russia, the sap of the birch tree has been extracted as food since it was cultivated by humans. For generations in these northern countries - where the birch tree is very widespread - the beneficial birch sap has been used to support detoxification cures.
We follow the northern peoples and use the sap of birch to promote our health and well-being.
Birch water has the quality of pure cell water
Every year the birch water can be obtained for two weeks in spring via a small tube that is drilled into the trunk. This method is ancient and proven not to harm the tree.
The birch water obtained, which has been cleaned on the way through the roots to the trunk, has the quality of pure cell water. The northern peoples drank this water fresh to heal and strengthen the body for the coming year.
Only later did people want to be able to enjoy this soothing juice not just for two weeks, but all year round. Various methods of preservation have been handed down. We use lactic acid bacteria for preservation. This refines the juice and makes it even more valuable.
